Guide for Admins and Directors: Adjudicating Flagged Background Checks and Manually Uploaded Requirements

This article is for Admins and Directors who need to learn how to adjudicate flagged background checks and other manually uploaded requirements.

Getting Started

Upon logging in, you might see a pending requirements modal. This indicates that there are new manually uploaded requirements awaiting your review. You can also navigate to the top right corner and click on the pulsing bell icon to review these requirements.

Reviewing Individual Requirements


1. Select a Requirement: Choose the requirement you’d like to review and click the “review” action link. This will open the Review Uploaded Requirement window.


2. Review Window Layout:
   - Left Panel: Displays all pertinent information
   - Right Panel: Shows the document

Making a Review Decision


You have three options in the Review Decision process:

1. Approve Requirement:
   - Marks the requirement as Completed.

2. Reset Requirement:
   - Resets the requirement to Incomplete, allowing the user to resubmit.
   - Prompts you to enter a Reason for Rejection, which will be automatically emailed to the user by Ankored. 
   - Ensure you click the Submit Review button.

3. Disqualify User:
   - Disqualifies the user and blocks them from your Ankored organization.
   - Prompts you to enter a Reason for Rejection, which will be recorded by Ankored but not sent to the user or visible to anyone in your organization.

Navigating Between Requirements

Use the Previous Requirement and Next Requirement buttons to move back and forth between requirements as needed.

By following these steps, you can effectively adjudicate flagged background checks and other manually uploaded requirements in Ankored.
