How to Delete Group(s)

Guidance for Deleting a Group in Ankored

Important Notes

• Ensure that the group has no users assigned to it before deletion.
• If you attempt to delete a group with users still assigned, an error message will appear stating: "Members are assigned to this level, so it cannot be deleted." Before deleting a Group, you must remove the users first. If needed, refer to the article "How to Remove a User" for guidance on removing users from the group.

Follow these steps to delete a group:

Steps to Delete a Group

1. Log in to Ankored
   • Use your login credentials to access your Ankored account.
2. Navigate to the Hierarchy Tab
   • 
     Before deleting a Group, you must remove the users first. If needed, refer to the article "How to Remove a User" for guidance on removing users from the group. Once logged in, click on the Hierarchy tab in the main menu.
3. Find the Group to Delete
   • Locate the group you wish to delete.
   • Click the ellipsis (⋮) on the right-hand side of the group name.
4. Select "Delete"
   • From the dropdown options, click Delete.
5. Confirm Deletion
   • A confirmation pop-up will appear, displaying the name of the group to be deleted.
   • Double-check that it is the correct group.
   • Click Delete to complete the process.
