Former SportsEngine and VNN Sports executive joins to accelerate Ankored's partner channel. [see full release here]
BOSTON, MA — November 2, 2026 — Ankored, the youth sports compliance platform, today announced the addition of Rick Ehrman as Senior Vice President of Corporate & Business Development.
Ehrman joins Ankored to lead corporate development and oversee all strategic business development. His purview includes all channel partnerships, integrated technologies, state parks and recreation associations, national governing bodies, insurance relationships, as well as other key strategic relationships.
"Our partner channel is a key element to safety. Whether a child plays in rec sports, club, or is on track to try out for the Olympics, athlete safety and compliance is of paramount importance. Meeting our customers where they are is part of that," said Seth Lieberman, CEO of Ankored. "Early traction with partners is driving us to do more, and Rick is the right person to accelerate this for us."
Ehrman has spent 15+ years building technology for amateur and school sports. He was an executive at SportsEngine, the youth sports platform acquired by NBC Sports. He went on to serve as CEO of VNN Sports, a high school athletics communications platform, and as CEO of rSchoolToday, which builds scheduling and activities software for school athletic departments. Earlier, he held leadership roles at General Electric, NBC and Univision.
"I've watched operators juggle registration, scheduling and compliance in separate systems for 15 years," said Ehrman. "They want background checks, training and certifications handled inside the tools they already use. Ankored is the compliance layer those platforms need. My job is to put it there, state by state and platform by platform."
